Terry Family memorial, Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford, Connecticut. This massive 21 ton memorial was installed in 1903 using a double team of horses in tandem with a steam engine, wooden derrick and hemp ropes. Barre Granite with large scallop pitching. The Founders of Hartford monument in Stony Creek Granite from Branford, Connecticut replaced a failing 1837 Portland Brownstone version in exact dimensions. It was commissioned by The Society of the Descendants of the Founders of Hartford in 1986 to commemorate Hartford’s 350th anniversary and installed in the exact original location in the Gold Street Ancient Burying Ground, Hartford, Connecticut. The top of the shaft was hollowed out to hold a time capsule for future opening.

Frederick Law Olmsted bronze bust — this famous landscape designer was from Hartford. He designed New York’s Central Park, Elizabeth Park in West Hartford, The Institute of Living in Hartford & dozens of notable parks nationwide. This bronze casting is installed on the grounds of The Institute of Living in Hartford. It is mounted on a Mountain Rose Granite base.
