Specialized Work

Hand-carved v-sunk letters in stone are becoming more and more rare in modern memorial work. Modern stencil guided sand-engraving has become the standard technique employed on 99% of orders today unless the customer desires to duplicate an existing style already present on their cemetery lot.

In some more affluent institutions, however, the work must emulate the highest visual aesthetics and nothing accomplishes this better than hand-carved gold leafed or gilded Roman capitals.

Beij, Williams & Zito have executed many such elegant inscriptions in several other areas of the Trinity College grounds as well as Avon Old Farms School, Loomis Chaffee School, Miss Porter’s School, Westminster School, Kingswood Oxford School and Renbrook School.
